How to make an Origami Angelfish

It is quite easy to make an angel fish in origami technique. So you can try to make this figure with your kids. You can choose any color of paper, and even better – take sheets with patterns or cool animal print, as we did. The basic figure for this fish is the base for a water bomb.

Step 1

So, take a sheet of origami paper of your chosen color measuring 15 x 15 cm.

Fold the paper in half, bending the top half of the sheet to the bottom half and ironing the fold.

Now fold your sheet in half again, but in the other direction – folding the right side to the left side. You should end up with a small square.

Step 5

Next, you should make a fold in the form of a pumpkin.

Step 6

To do this, slide the top flap to the right, unfold the paper, and crush it to make a triangle.

Step 7

Turn over the resulting element.

Step 8

Time for the squash fold. Make this squash fold and you have a watered triangle. You have the base for the water bomb ready.

Step 9

Now turn your base clockwise at 90 degrees. Check the photo to make sure you are doing it right. Holding the paper in this position, fold the top flap along the dashed line.
