Origami Boat Base
The Base for Boat is one of the basic origami figures that is used to create so many paper toys, and not all of them are related to sailing. You can also use this base when making an origami table, and even for a photo frame. Everything is simple here, the main thing is to follow the instructions below carefully.
To begin with, choose a square sheet of origami paper 15×15 cm in any desired color. There are absolutely no restrictions, so feel free to realize any of your fantasies.
Fold the paper in half. First on the horizontal axis, and then on the vertical axis. Next, fold the sheet depot in both diagonal axes. Carefully iron the fold lines and unfold your sheet.
Now fold the right and left sides evenly towards the center, as in the photo, and carefully unfold.
Next, repeat the same with the top and bottom sides of the paper.
Now unfold the top half. Then make 2 diagonal folds on the top layer of your piece only.
After that, fold the top half back and press the paper tightly to make a “roof” shape.
Turn your piece over and repeat the previous steps for the top half.
