Origami Box in a Box
This is a scheme for an original and very simple box made in origami technique. It is ideal for decorating or wrapping up a souvenir. The box has a rectangular shape, but when you open it, you can see that the inner space is square. You will only need one sheet of paper and a little attention to detail to make it. In the box, you can put a love letter, jewelry, candy, or any gift you wish. The main thing is to do it with love and the desire to make a nice thing for your loved one.
Ready to begin the master class? Then start acting according to the following steps.
Take a sheet of paper of the desired color of a square shape (15 by 15 cm).
Fold the paper in half, but press the fold only in the center part. It is better to do it this way so that the finished product has fewer folds on the outside.
Tuck the bottom part into the middle fold in the center of the sheet. Press only the center fold. Repeat the steps with the top layer. The result will be three folds centered in the middle of the model.
Fold the bottom edge to the topmost fold and press the fold in the middle.
Repeat the same with the top edge, folding it to the farthest fold.
Make two diagonal folds at the bottom right and left corners.
Fold the bottom edge of the shape to the middle of the sheet.
Fold the bottom back.
Fold this edge in half again.
At the corners of the bottom piece, pry up the paper and fold diagonally, pressing against the fold line.
Look at the photo to see how it should turn out.
Repeat steps 6 through 12 for the opposite side. You should end up with a shape with two symmetrical edges.
Make the folds as shown in the photo.
Make 2 more parallel folds a little farther away from the previous folds (see the photo for what you should get).
Raise the side edges.
Lift one of the flaps of paper, forming a box.
Repeat the same with the second side.
The box is almost ready. You need to fold the edges of the box in a second line of folds across.
Close the box by tucking one flap into the other.
Look how beautiful it turned out as a result. You can sign the box, decorate it with ribbon, glue rhinestones, or other decorative elements. You can use colored paper with ornaments. Even wrapping paper is suitable for this purpose, provided that it is made of high-quality materials and is strong enough.
