Origami Envelope
A beautiful handmade envelope is the best packaging for a certificate, an important letter, or a photo. You can use it to give an unusual gift of money or organize an original festive game. Smaller envelopes are also nice for putting cards with flower bouquets.
Of course, we can always buy an envelope in the store, but it is not always possible to find a beautiful product that will fit specifically the dimensions of your gift or needs. So why not make it ourselves?
The Origami Envelope can be made of absolutely any type of paper — you can use a traditional origami kit, wrapping paper, or even a newspaper. Here you are absolutely free in your creativity.
Below you will find step-by-step instructions with photos, with the help of which you can make envelopes from paper with your own hands quickly and easily.
Prepare a sheet of paper of rectangular shape, write the desired text, or draw your message.
Fold the sheet in half and then fold the top right corner towards the middle and press the fold line with your fingers.
Repeat the same steps but with the bottom left corner. Look at the photo to see how it should turn out.
Roll up the bottom right corner to the point where it joins the bottom left corner (see photo).
Repeat the same actions with the top part. This is how the model should appear.
Rotate your figure 90 degrees clockwise.
Fold the envelope so that the right side matches the bottom edge (look at the photo).
Open the bottom flap and tuck the corner on the right side into it.
Be careful here, as the joints of the paper should be perfectly straight, as in the photo.
In the same way, fold the left side to the upper edge. Hide this tail under the flap.
Our envelope is ready, its interesting shape and unusual fold will please your friend.
