Origami Human’s Figure
For those who like to play story games and act out scenes of funny stories with toy characters, the pattern for making a person using the origami technique will really appeal. The figure will be movable. By bending the arms and legs, it can be given the desired pose: a sitting, running, or dancing person. The feet and hands bend and even the head tilts.
To make one human figure, one sheet of paper is required. On a large sheet, it is easier to deal with bends and folds. So, for the first figure, it is better to take a square with a side of at least twenty centimeters. Only after practicing folding a large figure can you start assembling smaller characters.
Turn over the sheet of paper. Fold a double triangle, connecting all the middle line segments in the center.
Fold the left side to the second line from the edge. Crease the top of the fold, which is located above the sides of the bottom triangle.
Turn the paper over. Fold the side to the fourth line from the edge. Crease the fold above the bottom triangle line.
Squeeze the corners along diagonal lines. Crease the mountain fold around the perimeter of the square.
After folding four mountain folds also squeeze a small square in the center along diagonal lines.
Open the upper middle part of the workpiece. Set apart the rectangle in the center. Fold all the folds around it into a valley.
Turn the figure over. Shape the hands. Bend the piece in half lengthwise, pinching the sides of the shoulder and hand. Bend the hands to mark the elbows.
You can create additional environmental elements and clothing. How about you send paper people on a treasure hunt through the impassable jungle or to race fast toy cars? You can shoot motion pictures and edit a real film in which the little men come to life.
