The interesting design of this aircraft with a pointed front and wings bent at the edges allows it to fly along a given trajectory at high speed for a long time. We are sure you will like this model and will add it to your collection of origami aircraft. Our step-by-step guide will help you make it with ease.
Before starting, you should prepare a paper. It should be thick, but not heavy so that the aircraft is strong and light. Let’s start assembling!
Step 1
Cut out a paper rectangle measuring 22×28 cm or another size in the same aspect ratio.
Step 2
Fold it in half along the vertical axis and return to its original position.
Step 3
Turn over the paper before proceeding to the next step.
Step 4
Fold the top corners of the rectangle towards the center.
Step 5
Bend and straighten the paper as shown in the photo.
Step 7
Turn the figure to the wrong side.
Step 8
Bend the left and right sides to the center, as shown in the photo.
Step 10
Next, work with the top of the figure. Straighten the corners “hidden” on the back of the paper.
Step 11
Bend them towards the center on the front side, as shown in the photo.
Step 13
Having made a fold, straighten the corners.
Step 14
Bend the figure along the horizontal axis, as it is done in the photo.
Step 15
Then, bend up, returning it to its original state.
Step 16
Hide the side corners into the formed pockets, as indicated by the arrows.
Step 19
Bend the resulting triangle in the middle upward from the center.
Step 20
Bend the left side of the figure, as shown in the photo. Hide the edge in the pocket.
Step 22
Do the same with the right side.
Step 25
Fold the figure in half vertically.
Step 26
Make another straight fold, as in the photo.
Step 28
As a result, the paper should be folded as shown in the photo.
Step 29
Open the figure and fold the wings along the resulting folds, using the photo as your guide.
Step 30
A fast aircraft with a sharp arrow is ready.
You may have to practice first before you manage it, but you will definitely learn it. You can try to make the aircraft smaller or, on the contrary, bigger, experiment with materials and you will have an exciting game where you are an aircraft designer.
