Origami Pattern Base
This is one of the fairly common bases in the origami technique. It will come in handy when making figures such as a flower stand, a photo frame, or a trendy basket. The ability to fold origami bases greatly simplifies the process and reduces work time, allowing you to quickly start the most interesting part.
Prepare 15×15 cm paper and place color side down.
Fold the sheet along two diagonals, crease the folds well, and unfold.
Alternately bend along the vertical and horizontal axes and unfold.
Fold the right and left sides to the vertical center line.
Now, fold the top and bottom pieces towards the horizontal center line.
Open the top slightly by placing the paper vertically.
Make two diagonal folds in the central part, using the dotted lines as a guide.
Lower the top by pressing down on the paper from above.
Do the same steps at the bottom of the figure to get the result as on a photo.
Fold the upper parts of the left and right corners up, as shown in the photo.
Then, slightly open these two corners from the inside and, pressing the paper from the sides, make two flattening folds.
Fold the remaining side corners down, then make symmetrical flattening folds.
The base is ready! Now even more origami figures can be created by you.
