Origami Pentagon Base
It is difficult enough to imagine how a pentagon can be made from a square sheet of paper. However, the art of origami has existed for more than a century, so this problem was successfully solved. Such a base will definitely come in handy in the future, as it will serve as the basis for many interesting figures.
Place a sheet of paper 15×15 cm with the colored side up.
Fold in half as shown in the photo.
Fold the left corner to the right, but crease the fold not completely, but only in the place indicated by the dotted line.
Similarly, mark the fold by folding the right corner to the top.
Now, fold the top corner to the marked fold, marking another one along the dotted line.
Fold the paper, so that line DB coincides with line DF.
Bend the left corner inward, so that AD lies over DG.
Next, fold AD to DH.
Referring to the photo, bend the shape so the IG and BD create a right angle, and the paper is vertical.
Fold the figure along the dotted line, making a convex fold.
Cut off the top edge of the paper following the dotted line.
The Pentagon base is done!
Open the paper to see that your pentagon is complete. Add this base to your collection to be ready to fold the most unusual origami.
