Origami Santa’s Hat
Awesome themed origami for the whole family! When you puzzle over what to decorate your tree or house for Christmas, Santa Claus Hat is a wonderful solution. After all, a decoration made with your own hands is much more enjoyable.
You will need a square sheet of paper, red on one side. The size can be any, proceed from how you want to use the hat: to hang on the branch of the Christmas tree, to plant instead of a star on the top, or to make an addition to the gift.
Place the sheet of paper with the colored side down.
Fold diagonally, joining opposite corners. Work out the fold and unfold.
Fold the sides to the resulting center line so that their tips meet in the bottom third.
Turn the paper over and fold the top corner inward along the dotted line, then unfold.
Fold the top corner in again, so that this time it is on the fold line.
Fold this part of the shape again. The top edge should meet the fold line.
Fold the paper down along the fold line.
Turn the paper over and unfold the left side.
Fold the right side to the center line.
Fold the left side overlapping the right side as shown in the photo.
Fold the top tip back at an angle.
Look how cool the hat is! You can add a pompon to make it more realistic. And if you make this origami from a large enough sheet of paper, even an adult can wear it on their head.
