One of the most enjoyable traditions before the New Year holidays is decorating the house. This paper snowflake can be hung on a Christmas tree, glued to a window, or hung from the ceiling by a string. In any case, it will be a wonderful decoration for the New Year.

The undeniable advantage of these particular instructions is that there is no need to draw or measure anything. In order to make such a snowflake you only need paper, pencil, and scissors.

Step 1

Prepare a sheet of A4 format (21×28 cm). It can be white or colored. It’s your choice.

Step 2

Fold the top right corner toward the left side until it is flush with the edge of the paper.

Step 3

Cut off the bottom rectangular part. You won’t need it.

Step 4

Fold the resulting triangle in half, connecting the right and left corners.

Step 5

However, don’t crease the fold all the way through. You just need to mark a small line on the bottom edge.

Step 6

In a similar way, mark a line on the left side of the triangle: bend the left corner to the top, then unfold it.

Step 7
Step 8

Now, fold the right corner to the mark on the left side of the triangle to mark the fold on the right side.

Step 9

Unfold. You will end up with a triangle with three marks on the edges.

Step 10

Fold the right corner to the left, as shown in the photo.

Step 11

Turn the paper over.

Step 12

Fold the right corner inward so that its edge matches the left edge of the figure.

Step 13

Turn the shape over again and fold it in half.

Step 14
Step 15

Cut the top of the paper along the dotted line.

Step 16
Step 17

On the resulting triangle, mark lines similar to those shown in the illustration.

Step 18

Carefully make cuts along the lines, cutting off the excess.

Step 19

Carefully unfold the paper.
Done! You can evaluate the result!

If you do everything correctly, the snowflake will turn out symmetrical and very delicate. It will be a wonderful decoration for your home on the eve of the New Year holidays.
